Role Summary

DB Investing is looking for a highly analytical Finance & Business Performance Analyst with advanced Excel and Power BI capability. The role is designed for someone who can turn raw operational, employee, partner, IB, finance, and payment data into clear executive reports.

The candidate must be able to build expert-level Excel reports, design Power BI dashboards, analyze employee and partner performance, monitor deposits and withdrawals, support payment reconciliation, and prepare management-ready insights for decision-making.

This is not a basic accounting role. It requires strong financial analysis, dashboard design, data cleaning, reconciliation discipline, business judgment, and the ability to identify who is performing, who is underperforming, where money is coming in, where money is going out, and what action management should take.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive Excel Reporting

Prepare advanced Excel reports for management, including:

  • Team / Office / Employee performance reports.

  • Company-level financial performance dashboards.

  • Deposit, withdrawal, net deposit, FTD, target achievement, and missing target reports.

  • Risk and action lists for employees, teams, offices, and partners.

  • Monthly trend reports showing business momentum.

  • Automated formulas, pivot tables, Power Query models, lookup logic, conditional formatting, and clean executive layouts.


The person must be able to build reports that answer:
Who is helping the company reach target, who is reducing performance, and what action should management take today?

2. Power BI Dashboards

Design and maintain Power BI dashboards covering:

  • Company / Office performance.

  • Manager/team/employee performance.

  • IB/partner performance.

  • Deposits, withdrawals, net deposits, FTDs, revenue, commissions, and ROI.

  • Payment provider performance.

  • Risk indicators and action plans.


The candidate should be able to create drilldowns from company level to office, manager, employee, partner, and transaction level.


3. Employee, Team & Office Performance Analysis

Analyze performance by:

  • Employee, Manager, Team, Office.

  • Country/region.

  • Month.

  • Status: excellent, on track, watchlist, critical.

  • Target achieved percentage.

  • Missing target amount.

  • Net deposit contribution.

  • Withdrawal leakage.

  • FTD quality.


Prepare clear recommendations for management, such as recognition, recovery plan, manager review, or escalation.


4. IB / Partner Performance Analysis

Analyze partner and IB performance, including:

  • IB ROI.

  • Net revenue.

  • Commissions paid.

  • Marketing support.

  • Trading bonus cost.

  • Chargebacks.

  • Deposits generated.

  • Active clients.

  • FTDs.

  • Client churn.

  • Compliance flags.

  • Partner profitability ranking.

  • Top and worst partners.

  • Recommended actions: scale, repair, cap, review, or terminate.


The candidate should understand that a partner is not only judged by volume, but by profitability, quality, risk, and return on company support.


5. Payments IN / OUT & Finance Operations Support

Support finance/payment executive tasks, including:

  • Tracking deposits and withdrawals.

  • Monitoring incoming and outgoing payments.

  • Matching payment proof with internal records.

  • Checking payment references, client names, amount, currency, and transaction status.

  • Supporting reconciliation between CRM, cashier, bank, PSP, and finance records.

  • Maintaining payment provider spreadsheets.

  • Flagging mismatches, missing references, wrong currency, third-party payments, rejected payments, high-value transactions, or suspicious items.

  • Coordinating with Finance, Payments Operations, Compliance, and management before confirming funds received or released.


6. Data Quality & Automation

Maintain clean data and improve reporting systems by:

  • Cleaning messy spreadsheets and standardizing names, offices, providers, and categories.

  • Creating reusable templates.

  • Building automated data refresh processes where possible.

  • Connecting Excel/Power BI to CRM, trading platforms, payment systems, and finance exports.

  • Creating clear definitions for each metric, and documenting formulas, assumptions, and report logic.

Job requirements

Required Skills

  • Advanced Excel: Power Query, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic arrays, conditional formatting, dashboards, data validation.

  • Strong Power BI: Power Query, DAX, data modeling, relationships, slicers, drilldowns, dashboard design.

  • Strong finance and business performance analysis.

  • Ability to reconcile payments, deposits, withdrawals, commissions, and provider data.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with raw exports from CRM, trading platforms, payment gateways, banks, and spreadsheets.

  • Good understanding of KPIs such as net deposit, total withdrawal, target achievement, ROI, revenue, commission cost, FTD, active clients, churn, and risk flags.

  • Ability to explain complex numbers simply to management.

  • Strong confidentiality and data handling discipline.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in financial services, brokerage, fintech, payments, forex/CFD, banking, or trading-related companies.

  • Experience with payment providers, PSPs, bank reconciliation, cashier systems, or CRM finance workflows.

  • Experience building management dashboards for CEOs, finance teams, sales teams, or operations teams.

  • Experience analyzing affiliate, IB, partner, or commission-based business models.

  • Very strong in Excel, not just average.

  • Comfortable building reports from scratch.

  • Detail-focused and structured.

  • Able to challenge wrong data.

  • Fast with numbers.

  • Able to work efficiently within deadlines.

  • Transparent about misisng information.

  • Able to produce clean reports without constant supervision.

  • Practical: not just reporting numbers, but explaining what action should be taken.


Key Deliverables in the First 90 Days

By the end of the first 90 days, the candidate should deliver:

  • A clean employee performance Excel report.

  • A finance performance dashboard.

  • A Power BI version of the main performance dashboard.

  • A payment IN/OUT tracking and reconciliation report.

  • An IB/partner ROI and performance report.

  • A monthly management pack for CEO review.

  • A risk/action report showing critical employees, teams, offices, partners, and payment issues.
