Position Overview:

We are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who is an After Effects expert and uses AI video tools as a natural part of their workflow. You will turn product features, platform flows and financial concepts into clear, engaging videos that people actually watch to the end.

This role sits at the meeting point of classic motion design and AI-assisted production. We want someone who can animate by hand to a high standard, and who knows how to use generative AI to move faster without the result looking generic.

Key Responsibilities:

Motion design and animation 

• Create motion graphics, product animations and explainer videos in Adobe After Effects, from concept and storyboard to final export.

• Animate interfaces, app flows, dashboards and data (charts, prices, figures) to show clearly how our products work.

• Work across formats: 2D animation, kinetic typography, whiteboard-style, and text with voice-over. Choose the right format for each brief rather than one look for everything.

• Enhance screen recordings and platform walkthroughs with cursor highlights, click effects, zooms and callouts so every step is easy to follow.

• Translate static designs and scripts into dynamic sequences with smooth transitions and purposeful motion.

AI-assisted video production 

• Use generative AI video, image and audio tools to speed up production: concept frames, B-roll, backgrounds, scene extensions, voice-over, upscaling and clean-up.

• Blend AI-generated elements with After Effects and Premiere Pro work so the final piece looks crafted and on-brand, not generic or obviously machine-made.

• Check every AI output for accuracy, visual quality, brand fit and usage rights before it goes into a final cut.

• Test new AI tools and workflows, share what works, and help the team build reusable templates and faster processes.

Video editing and post-production 

• Edit and assemble videos in Adobe Premiere Pro with strong pacing, transitions, music and sound effects.

• Handle color correction, audio balancing and final polish.

• Deliver platform-ready versions and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, our website and paid campaigns.

• Produce short cut-downs of longer videos for social and advertising use.

Collaboration and workflow 

• Work closely with the Art Director, designers, content writers and the social media team to turn scripts and briefs into finished videos.

• Contribute ideas, storyboards and visual directions, and explain the thinking behind them.

• Take feedback through review rounds and turn revisions around quickly.

• Follow brand guidelines and the requirements of regulated financial marketing, such as accurate product claims and required risk disclaimers.

• Manage several videos in parallel, meet agreed deadlines, and keep project files, assets and packaged After Effects projects organized so others can pick them up.

• 3+ years of professional motion graphics experience.

• Expert-level Adobe After Effects: keyframing, graph editor, shape layers, masking, compositing, expressions and templates.

• Strong Adobe Premiere Pro editing skills.

• Hands-on production experience with AI video tools, for example Runway, Kling, Google Veo, Luma, Higgsfield or Adobe Firefly, plus AI voice and audio tools such as Eleven Labs.

• Good prompting skills and the judgement to know when AI helps and when a shot should be animated by hand.

• A portfolio showing product or UI animations and explainer videos.

• Solid grasp of animation principles, timing, typography, composition and visual hierarchy.

• Comfortable working with Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop files and preparing layers for animation.

• Good understanding of video formats, resolutions, codecs and export settings.

• Clear written and spoken English and Arabic.

• Experience with fintech, trading, SaaS or other digital product brands.

• Experience with AI avatar tools such as HeyGen or Synthesia, or AI upscaling tools such as Topaz Video AI.

• 3D skills (Cinema 4D or Blender) or Lottie animation for web and app.

• Sound design skills.

• Performance ad creative experience: strong hooks in the first seconds and cut-downs for paid social.
