Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Forex Dealer to join our remote trading operations team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, excellent risk management skills, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage trading platforms and liquidity providers
Execute trades and manage risk exposures in real-time
Ensure best execution practices and maintain spreads
Monitor system performance, pricing feeds, and market conditions
Liaise with liquidity providers and internal departments
Analyze trading activity and prepare reports as required
Support the development and optimization of dealing desk procedures
Stay updated with market trends, news, and economic data releases

Job requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Forex Dealer or similar role
Strong knowledge of MT4/MT5 platforms and trading systems
Familiarity with risk management and hedging strategies
Understanding of global financial markets and economic indicators
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (preferred)

Walk me through your dealing desk setup experience (A-Book/B-Book/hybrid). What % split did you manage and why?

Explain slippage and requotes in a brokerage context. How do you set positive/negative slippage rules and why?

How do you detect and manage toxic flow (latency arbitrage, HFT scalping, news straddling)? Give 3 indicators you use.

What risk limits did you personally own? Walk me through your exposure controls (per symbol, per client group, per book) and escalation rules.

Describe how you manage high-impact news (NFP, CPI, rate decisions). What do you change before/during/after the event?

Give an example of a “bad day” incident (LP outage, pricing spike, bridge failure, toxic attack). What was your action plan in the first 15 minutes?

How do you evaluate LP quality and choose routing? Which metrics do you track weekly/monthly? Knock-out: Can’t name measurable KPIs (fill ratio, rejection, slippage distribution, latency, markout, profitability by stream).

How do you handle client complaints about execution (slippage, stops, gaps)? What evidence do you pull and how do you communicate the decision?

What are some of the key risk indicators and metrics that you use or report on?

What are your expectations on governance and conflicts of interest? How do you ensure clean approvals for markups, promotions/bonuses, and special execution settings?
